Welcome to the homepage of the Cornell University Greek Epigraphy Project. Learn more about the Greek Epigraphy Project's history and staff, or the contents of the forthcoming PHI CD-ROM and its special coding.

The project was conceived and established by David W. Packard, the president of the Packard Humanities Institute (PHI). It receives its financial support from PHI (through a non-exclusive contract) as well as considerable technical expertise for the task of computerizing epigraphic texts and preparing them in a format suitable for the CD-ROM. The final preparation of the texts and the distribution of the CD-ROM are carried out by PHI.
